1. In the following terms and conditions, the term 'Exhibitor' describes
any organisation or person who has made an application and has been allocated
space at the exhibition. The term 'Organiser' refers to BACP Enterprises
Ltd. The term 'exhibition' refers to Therapy Today 2006 Exhibition.
The term 'venue' relates to the Business Design Centre, Islington
Green, London. The term 'additional marketing opportunities' refers
to visitor's pack and advertisements in the event guide.
2. Intending exhibitors must confirm their booking in writing, using the booking
form, and attach an official purchase order. No application will be considered
valid until a signed form is received. Exhibitors will be invoiced for the
full cost of the stand and any additional marketing opportunities taken up.
Invoices
should be paid within 28 days and must be paid prior to the event. No stand
may be sub-let to a third party without written consent of the organisers.
3. While every endeavour is made to preserve the published layout of the exhibition,
should it be necessary to revise the layout for any purpose, the organiser
reserves the right to transfer an exhibitor to an alternative suitable site.
4. The exhibitor will have no claim against the organiser or their contractors
with respect to any loss or damage consequent on the prevention or abandonment
of the exhibition or the exhibition building becoming wholly or partially unavailable
for the holding of the exhibition for reasons beyond the control of the organisers
or their contractors.
5a. An exhibitor cancelling, reducing or withdrawing their application for
a stand or additional marketing opportunities that have been allocated by the
organiser
will still be liable for payment of the full charge of the original booking.
5b. If, however, the exhibitor notifies the organisers in writing of their
intention to cancel, reduce or withdraw their application for a stand or additional
marketing
opportunities before 1 August 2006 the exhibitor will only be charged
25 per cent of the original booking.
6. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that their contractor,
employees, displays and exhibits comply with the latest legislation regarding
the Health and Safety at Work regulations.
The exhibitor, on booking a stand, certifies that all materials brought on
site for use in construction or for display purposes are either non-flammable
or meet
British Class 1 standards of flammability.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to insure the contents of their stand.
7. The Exhibitor undertakes to observe the conditions contained in the Rules,
Regulations and Handbook for Exhibition Organisers, published by the Business
Design Centre, Islington Green, London.
8. The Exhibitor undertakes to make good any damage to the Venue caused by
the activities of the Exhibitor during the exhibition period. The Exhibitor
undertakes
to remove all structures, goods and materials from the Venue at the end of
the exhibition period on day two commencing no later than 17:00hrs with completion
no later than 21:00hrs and deliver up the Venue to the Organiser promptly,
in
as good and clean an order and condition as existed at the date of commencement
of the exhibition period. In the case of default the Exhibitor shall pay to
the Organiser a sum equivalent to two days stand space hire.
