Therapy Today - London 2006 - 6 & 7 October 2006, Business Design Centre, London

Therapy Today 2006 brings together leaders in training, recruitment, careers, professional services and those promoting wellbeing.

It will unite counsellors, psychotherapists and a range of other related professionals under one roof.

This two day event showcases counselling and psychotherapy as a profession while emphasising the importance of the work-life balance for all-round success and well-being.

Exhibitors will share news, products, services and latest developments with therapists.

In addition to an extensive exhibition hall, Therapy Today 2006 offers:

  • a range of workshops that focus on important issues facing the profession

Statistics from the sector

A recent survey of public attitudes to counselling and psychotherapy by The Future Foundation found that:

83 per cent of respondents had received or would consider counselling and psychotherapy

seven out of 10 respondents in employment found their work stressful

40 per cent of respondents were more stressed than five years ago
